For the past several years I have been importing DXF files from an apparel pattern program to use in layouts in Illustrator CS5. Last year I installed the CS6 trial to see if it was something we would want to upgrade to, but decided to wait awhile. After I installed CS6, when I open the DXF files I no longer see the text or remarks the designer added in the pattern. The problem continued even after I uninstalled the trial software and was back using cs5. I asked our IT person about it but he was unable to figure out a solution so I just lived with it, and if I needed to see the notes I would have one of the artists that works for me open it up and save it as an AI file for me. Well, last week we installed CS6 on one of thier computers and the same thing happened- they cannot see the notes anymore whether they try to open it in CS5 or CS6. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this issue, or what is causing it? Thanks for any help you can give me. I was thinking it might be a preferences conflict with the 2 versions, but not really sure.
