I need to map a drawing around a bottle, so first of all I convert the drawing with Live Trace, then Expand.
And then...
Well, surprisingly the drawing here and there rejects the new Bezier curves, and the behavior of the anchor points is very strange. Checking the whole figure, I discovered an invisible frame around with no less than 12 anchor points (?).
I delete it, and... Damn, the result seems even worse! Now some details of the stole have dissapeared, but, when I click the Selection tool (V), ghosts of those details can be seen. So I began to delete the anchor points, discovering that you must delete the same piece three or four times 
Moreover, although I'm not bad with the pen, I'm not sure how to proceed to trim those outlines.
How do you manage this? Thanks in advance.
