I am working in CS6, and Im working with some placed image files. The images are both in black and white, and they are surrounded by the black vectors in the illustrator file. The edge is seemless in some areas as the blacks are all rich and fade into eachother. However this only works when viewed in illustrator itself. As soon as i export to PDF, the images, and only the images, lose their rich-ness and become grey. If i export the jpg as a rgb instead of cmyk, it gets rid of this problem. However this will be going out for print so rgb is not acceptable. Somebody please help!
