Hi,
What is the maximum file size that Illustrator (creative cloud version) can handle? My Ai file is 103 mb now, I have a lot of designs which applied brushes, patterns and different effects (and still have a lot to be worked on). My Ai file is very very very slow now. Each time I move an element or try to do something with it, Illustrator would re-generate (hope I used the right word) all the effects applied on my elements, and it takes forever. This is so difficult to continue to work on this file because of such slow pace. Did anyone experience that before? I am thinking of spliting my file in two or even four sepearte files but that makes designing so difficult! Can anyone help please or share your own experiences with this problem? I greatly appreciate it!!
Also, when I tried to copy and paste some Ai elements to Psd to do some effects, the designs lost original brush stroke style or shape. Even doing this from one Ai file to another Ai file. I am not sure that should happen. Please advise. Thanks.
Adobe- do you know there could be this problem with Illustrator please? I would like to call Adobe to ask but some technicians don't seem to be able to help, sorry to be honest. And I was on hold over an hour for many times, finally hung up. I have only come across with two technicians who were really trying to help in the past.
