Pattern problem

I created a pattern using a 800px by 800px artboard.

When i used the pattern and saved as a .pdf I get these gaps inbetween each copy of the patter. It looks like this: http://gyazo.com/573f22e7bf43d6759802ef7cd9747844

What am i doing wrong?
