Hi There,
I'm doing some projects and was wondering if someone could tell me how to create a bag of this sort. This is only a jpeg but I'd like to create my own to change it up a bit and then change the colours. What I'm most after is how this sort of realistic look was achieved on the body of the bag. I guess the mesh tool but could someone take me step by step how to create this effect?

Is there a way to do this? I've been doing some research and the only answer I'm finding is using the InDesign app, but nothing for AI. If you have not found a way, how do you do this, old school way?

I am using a script font in AI and i am trying to send it to my graphtec cutter/plotter however the letters are overlapping and i cant get the path to merge. you can see from the screen shot that when the cutter goes to cut the letters, it will cut into the adjacent letters. does any one know how to correct this?
Can someone show me how to select a custom trace preset in VBscript? I have a single image loaded in Illustrator CS6 which I then need to trace. I have tried several variations of:
Set DocRef = App.ActiveDocument
DocRef.TracingOptions.LoadFromPreset("simwest trace 1")
Any help would be most appreciated.
I've created a shape with a roughened edge and overlaid it on top of another shape (image1.png); I want to subtract the top-most shape from the bottom shape with the result being the same roughened edge that is on the top-most shape. However, when I do this, the resulting knockout shape has a smooth line (image2.png) instead of the roughened outline. Any way to do this simply without having to manually recreate the roughened edge?

Hello,
I recently updated to the 2015.3 version of Illustrator and now when I export my .ai files to a .PSD lines that have a custom pattern brush applied look choppy.
I reinstalled the older version and now that one is doing the same thing. I am attaching a few images to illustrate (large images to show detail).
Any thoughts or assistance would be greatly appreciated

I am facing an very annoying issue which is first time in 3 year career, I am designing a Business card in CMYK color mode, and I have a logo for my client and when I put that logo in Art board... illustrator says "an unknown error have occurred" even all text is in create outline and when I put logo out of art board then file successfully save... I didn't find out whats wrong with my illustrator version..

When I am hovering over a window in the transform panel and bump my scroll wheel the value changes. Is there a way to disable this function? It is causing some mistakes, as I don't always realize I bump the invisible scroll wheel on the magic mouse.

Quiero cambiar el color de fondo de una composición que estoy haciendo en illustrator cc.
Eh visto en internet que se cambia en "Ajustar documenteo" - "Simular papel de color" y escoger el color.
Eso funciona para illustrator, pero en cuanto guardo mi trabajo como pdf, me lo guarda con fondo blanco.
Necesito que se guarde con el color de fonde que quiero.
Como lo puedo hacer?

I do the month to month illustrator and my month is up I need to convert my ai to a pdf but am not willing to pay another $30 to do that is there any way I can make it a pdf without illustrator?
So, I'm sure there's a super easy way to do this, but after a hour of struggling and fifteen minutes of searching, I got nothing.
What I'm trying to do is take the picture of the family, the black silhouettes, and make it negative space, so the purple background shows through, like it does with the

My name is Dillan. I am a beginner user of Ai. I have recently downloaded the free trial for the application. The only thing is... I can not open it. It only shows "buy now" option next to the application in the creative cloud window. I am using windows 7 t430s thinkpad. Can anyone help please.

Hi, I have Creative Cloud CS6 Illustrator and I closed Illustrator without selecting and saving my drawing and I opened it back into
Illustrator to continue my drawing and now I need to know how to export my drawing and inclued the path's that I didn't select and save
when I started my drawing. Because the path's that I didn't save won't move. I would sure appreciate your help God bless you all thank

I just want to know why sizes converted into px using Illustrator is different than some online converter e.g. Unit Conversion - Online Unit Converter.
For example, 50cm in Illustrator is 1417.32px. But the online converter is: 1889.763779528px.

Illustrator File getting downloaded as PDF from IE browser but in Chrome it is working fine getting downloaded as .ai file.
Please look into this issue and let us know.
Can you say If we need to add some JavaScript code for enabling the browser to download it as .ai or is it from your side.
This is little urgent as we are using in one application.
